The judges are -- that makes it their obligation to spend time and judge each submission thoroughly.

You did judge them when you compared your project to the winners and then claimed that the other projects were substandard.

and you did also promote your app - I personally think that was okay though, but I'm saying this as you said that you weren't promoting it

I quickly judged the projects that won based upon web standards of UI/UX, accessibility, design and other things.

I hope you get a chance to sit down with one of the judges. I have found the supabase team to be quite accessible.

Yeah, the feedback seems like it could be valuable if you are unclear about why your project and 40 other ones didn’t make the cut.

My application is a free and open-source tool and I have zero intention to make a profit from it. If anything, it's burning a hole in my pocket 😄.

the only comment i can add to this is that for the project i worked on, the judging did not seem very thorough as the gameplay part of a game was skipped by two judges when they signed up (and missing discoverability would be weird as we did playtesting on several users of different age groups and they all figured out how to start a game) still had fun and i never had too high expectations going into this, just my feedback on this matter cause after spending so much time obviously i'm a little disappointed
