Got the most amazing idea for this hackathon just when I went to bed yesterday and now I'm fighting the urge to actually do it since, you know, vacation and I really need some time off from code 😂 Maybe I'll just do it anyways later this year, hackathon or no hackathon

You shouldn't worry about code stealing/idea stealing as your project must be open sourced in other to be valid for the contest.

Sorry to inform you that your project must be created after 30th July, and open-sourced, in order to be evaluated by Supabase Judges.

Here are the extensive rules of the **Supabase Hackathon**:

‣ Team size 1-5 (all team members on winning teams will receive a prize)
‣ You cannot be in multiple teams
‣ One submission per team
‣ All design elements, code, etc. for your project must be created during the event
‣ All entries must be Open Source (link to source code required in entry)
‣ Must use Supabase in some capacity
‣ Can be any language or framework
‣ You must submit before the deadline (no late entries)
‣ You can continue to make updates to your project after the submission deadline, but there is no guarantee that the judges will see additions made after the submission time.
