yeah, as @User mentioned, this is markdown behavior. the preview here's is a little wacky in the sense that it'll fix this for you but its like IE trying to auto-fix html quirks, it makes everythig else more confusing. i would recommend not having the newline right now since all markdown renderers will display what dendron does at this point

The current note UUID is always the same and references a known note in my vault. The no childNote found UUID doesn't exist in my system at all. I've tried running Doctor and Rebuilding the index but neither fixes the problem.

It's not a big problem as the extent is just a error message but curious if I can get rid of it.

Actually - maybe it's a bigger problem than I though as none of the Dendron panels are populating.

I'm thinking the quickest way might be extending pandoc to use the different syntax and setting the previewer to use pandoc instead of the default renderer?

I'm also interested in using dendron with other kinds of mark-up syntax

as far as I know that should no longer be used internally or at least its planned to use for the preview the same as for the publishing.

dendron supports dendron flavored markdown which is a superset of github flavored markdown with additional features (eg. wiki links, note references, etc). pods are the mechanism to convert dendron to/from other sytnaxes

+1 to what @fudo said. we're looking to deprecate markdown preview enhanced and move the logic in house in our own preview. that being said, you can always convert dendron to markdown and then use pandoc to convert it to anything else

Hi, I am trying to setup a hotkey in vscode for the alt+click to follow a link in Dendron. Having a little trouble, anyone have this a reference I can follow?

not sure if thats customizable. i've just used the vscode default (this was cmd+click on vscodium and option+click on vscode on mac)
