    There's a VS code command "go to definition" which is mappable to a keybinding which I think will do what you're trying to do here. The vim extension has it mapped to 'gd' and it's really nice to use

    notes ? Even after reading the above - I didn't understand. Watching a video confused me. I don't have

    From what I can see in the demo video, there's an icon that shows up on 'look-up note' ui that needs to be mouse toggled. But you can do this from the keyboard with 
    ctrl + shift + s
    or 
    cmd + shift + s
    by default (this is on this cheatsheet: https://dendron.so/notes/f9540bb6-7a5a-46db-ae7c-e1a606f28c73.html, but isn't on the 'special notes' page of the documentation).

    I got that I need to use 
    Lookup
    to create new notes. But for Daily journal, the longish filename is already created for me. Do I need to type in entire of 
    scratch.2021.02.17.<some time stamp I think>
    ? I'm OK to type in 
    scratch.

    if you click that button on the look-up bar or bring up look-up via 
    ctrl + shift + s
    it'll auto-fill "scratch.'YYYY.MM.DD.stringofnumbers" for you

    I never realized there were so many buttons there. I had to click one with calendar style icon (There are tooltips for each icon. I clicked one that says scratch notes)

    Yeah, I always use the keybinding for scratch notes, so I didn't find out about the buttons until you asked your question 😆 . Part of Dendron fulfilling Bushnell's law I figure, continually discovering things like this all the time

    So I am not finding any such setting to delete c-l from. Nearest I can find is vim.handleKeys, to which I added , which should hand back binding to vscode, (doesn't work though

    On related tack, how about a vim, or vim-workflow channel, I've been playing around with both vim extension, (a vim emulator), and Vscode-neovim, (a real vim embeding into Vscode). things I see be explored in that channel, keybindings, local leader bindings tuned to Dendron, Dendron supporting macros...

    Installed vscode-neovim - looks nice.

    When you use 
    Vault Add
    , is the path to the new vault relative or can it be static? I have my work notes in one vault on an external drive 
    /mnt/xtrnl/notes/
    , but my personal notes will be in 
    /home/Ryan/Documents/notes/
    which is on my main hard disk. Do these have to be separate work-spaces?

    Yes it is interesting, I believe that the author is the same guy who does Spacevim. Running the common vim emulator in stable, vscode-neovim in the insider addition. Love to get users feedback on peoples init.vim and plugin they have found that work with it.
