Hey, I was revisiting Dendron Wiki (again) from a mobile phone and a layout of some pages doesn't adapt for a phone screen. For example, Step 2 and Step 3 of the introduction. Edit: the layout adapts, the font doesn't.

I have portable Git. Set

git.path

to the correct directory, but when I try `vault convert`to remote it says

Command failed with ENOENT: git init spawn git ENOENT

Something like ' The command "git" is a typo or could not be found'

Is

git.path

a VSCode setting? Dendron tries to run

git

using your shell, which will look at your

PATH

. Is it possible to add the portable git to your

PATH

variable? If not, you can send a feature request for Dendron to respect the VSCode setting for git path.

it is i've added git to my path in my powershell profile. Haven't tried to add it permantly yet.

does it spawn it's own shell? and which shell?

I’ve introduced dendron the my manager at work.

He’s a bit intimidated by it, but allowing me to continue secretly replacing our knowledge base with it.

I’ve been making a work dendron for two weeks. It already has almost as many (and more accurate) entries than our existing knowledge base.

I failed to pitch Dendron to my team

for my defence, these are the kind of people who still refuse to use Teams and chat via email

I found out about Dendron yesterday, I am about to build our team's knowledge base from scratch now with Dendron and publish it

I'm up to same mission at my workplace too 😎

I don't think non-technical folk will want to use dendron even if they understand it

even something like Obsidian or Evernote will be turns offs

our goal is to be build out the publishing interface to also have limited editing capabilities. a good mental model is figma - made for designers but built so that anyone can collaborate in it.
