    I've followed your post on here, I find we are working on some similar things, and have seen some of the hick ups you've had with Dendron. I expect it will come around as it matures.

    @User, @User About running on Win 10 So Dendron has migrated a lot of its functionality into servers written in typescript and uses packages fetched by npm to run and spin up the lsp servers for the extension, plus a separate sever at :8080 when you want to check out a site preview. So, for Dendron on Win 10 you need: * Node.js * npm * a C++ compiler callable by npm to build some parts of its dependencies * a terminal with a shell language I've used node's website, scoop, windows terminal, and powershell What are others on windows doing?]

    As far as I can see you need node only if you want to publish and I definitely don't have a c++ compiler installed. For node and other tools I also use scoop to install and update. I agree this may not be self-evident but I guess most users of vscode have a more technical background. Until now my main usage of dendron-cli was doctor

    currently local npm yields: C:\Users\tfeth> npm list -g --depth=0 C:\Users\tfeth\AppData\Roaming\npm +-- @dendronhq/dendron-cli@0.30.0 +-- jshint@2.12.0 `-- npm@7.5.6

    I think "dendron-cli@latest" is just a pointer to "head", using git as a metaphor

    @here We're looking to revamp the dendron.so landing site and we're working with a designer. We're trying to decide between a 3D glass-ball (🔮) type logo vs. a 2D look (🟢).

    I like both logos; the 3d is very organic, matching the organic nature of the project's name. However, the flat 2d logo fits the modern, clean, simple aesthetic. I'd probably vote for the 3d, but it's very close.

    The flat/2D one looks better in my opinion, but maybe "too flat". Maybe try a slight vertical color gradient from dendron green to slightly darker dendron green ?

    It would be neat to see how dithered you could get a nice embroidery. Seems complicated, though.
