@User your question about subheader references has made me think about something. The Obsidian way of seeing references to specific subheaders is probably to extract that subheader into a separate note. So that it can have its own backlinks. The problem however is that the subnote then loses its connection with the main note. Sure, you can link them together. But the connection that "one is part of the other" is lost. And references to the subnote will not show up for the main note any more. This made me think of a feature for Dendron - extended backlinks. I mean displaying backlinks for a note and its descendants in the hierarchy. So that when I look at
    dendron
I can also see things that mention
    dendron.features
    and
    dendron.otherstuff
. Wonder what @User thinks about this)).

@User when we make a block reference, we are actually copying the content of the notes into the generated html. it wouldn't be too much of a leap to make the block into its own note with backlinks if people want the references to show up in the graph. there are problems with that approach as you mentioned but they are workable issues. when you say extended backlinks, could you describe a little more? if i'm looking at
    dendron.features
, should i see backlinks for
    dendron.features.cool-feature
    ?

maybe filtered to notes outside this hierarchy itself Otherwise there's going to be a lot of
    dendron.features.this
    linking to
    dendron.features.that
and that's not so interesting But when
    pkm.structure
    links to
    dendron.features.this
then I sometimes want to see this on
    dendron.features
    page too)

got it. definitely something we can support. was going to suggest hiding under a toggle. maybe it's even something that can be queried. eg: show me all the backlinks that match this wildcard lookup from the current note... if you submit a feature request then i can add it to the roadmap πŸ™‚ https://github.com/dendronhq/dendron/issues/new?assignees=&labels=&template=feature_request.md&title=

Hello. Has anyone found a workaround to updating extensions automatically in VSCodium? I'm using Microsoft Marketplace Extension in VSCodium. Haven't tried if automated updating works for Open VSX.

I updated manually. But I have the same issues for all extensions. So I've changed the .json file to get extensions from the Microsoft marketplace. I guess that's why it's not updating manually.
