    Remnote user here, kinda starting to feel trapped inside it ahah Wanted to explore more foss solution (and flat-file ish ! :3) Also wanted to use Zotero more, I know this isn't something Dendron might be made for, but since it's mostly vscode addons...?

    Just reading the rational behind the "tree based hierachy" of notes on dendron and realized I also was doing it in remnote

    Ah, really what would be perfect is a remnote-ish way to make flashcards

    I think we were actually just talking about an extension that treats all
    ##
    headers as flash cards then preps for anki deck export

    I do really like the idea of flash cards in Dendron tho 👀

    I'd love something as advanced than remnote's in this case :p making documents to learn is something remnote truly shine, but sadly I'm mostly taking notes and researching, not really having much need to relearn stuff for now so it's kinda underexploited ;;

    It's simple keywords allowing to create highly detailed flashcards, in their contexts, so you can quickly dig in back if you want to relearn it a bit

    Aka "not having to maintain your learning material AND your flashcards"

    to support flashcards, I would checkout current anki extensions to get inspired https:/dendron.so/notes/401c5889-20ae-4b3a-8468-269def4b4865.html#use-dendron-with-anki

    dendron lets you export/import your notes as JSON so you can also put it back into remnote for flashcards: https:/dendron.so/notes/66727a39-d0a7-449b-a10d-f6c438185d7f.html#export

    Oh, indeed ahah Yeah, building a bibliography like this, with markdown, seems smart

    Yet I was kinda seeking for a more automated way, lot of peoples around me use tools like zotero or stuff to build bibliography, and then isert them. Yet it make sense when you use word/libreoffice writer documents, because how limited they are in building a set of documents, I thought maybe there was some bibtex vscode things, or stuff like that, that could help generating bibliography on the fly

    (I study in two fields at the same time, each have their own bibliographics codes, yet for the sake of my braincell I wanna just focus on giving the book 1 time and don't worry much )

    i think vscode does have those extensions. there's this for example. i recall seeing a bibtex specific one but don't recall what it is at the moment 😅 https://marketplace.visualstudio.com/items?itemName=mblode.zotero
