I know at times when I rebooted them theynwould be at the page “ don't turn of computer, windows is installing update one of two” then RDP doesn't work. Just guess on your issues though

Had this happen to me following a CVAD uninstall last week, had to have the client restore the snapshot on Azure. As I had 4 other VMs to do, I installed TightVNC as a back-door for the subsequent attempts, as I didn't have Azure bastion/console access. AFAIK, the issue was caused by windows updates processing following the CVAD un-install, i'm assuming a shared DLL was removed by the CVAD un-installed, and wasn't restored by the windows updates. I didn't have time to get into the weeds
