Are your hdx sessions running on UDP or TCP? I can confirm, if using UDP, during a failover (in my example HA failover at NetScalers) the session reconnect is about 20 seconds. Using TCP, 1-3 seconds.

UDP, Enlightened. Well in terms of ThinOS 8.6 on Dell Wyse 5060 that's only works for sound, not for video. OK. It's hard to measure benefits of UDP over https. should be better theoretically as you don't have TCP/IP overhead. but so far we hit a couple of issues - Netscaler vulnerabilities, so we updated Netscalers and disabled UDP for external users, now it's also affecting internal users 8-(
