Check your logs in C:\ProgramData\FSLogix\Logs. Probably a permissions issue on the share.

settings eeems ok i followed this first https://blog.fslogix.com/securing-fslogix-profile-and-office-365-containers and then this https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/fslogix/fslogix-storage-config-ht and in my log it only says this tid00000f2c.00000204][ERROR:00000020] Attach vhd(x) failed, file is locked. Retrying 12 time(s) at 5 second intervals (The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process.) i don't know if its a antivirus problem holding on to the vhdx file

WHat does Process Explorer suggest is locking the VHD

If you are using Citrix remember to disable Citrix Profile Management
a
If you haven't already, exclude on-access scanning for the folder used to store the VHD/VHDX files on the server.

Like Kasper mentioned, make sure Citrix UPM is disabled, otherwise you get these locked errors. But let UPM installed, so you get the logon informations for the Director. You can disable UPM with the INI file, with WEM or with GPO.
