We are currently experiencing an issue involving Cura (3D printing software), Omnissa Horizon Instant Clones (Windows 11, 24H2) and FSLogix (version 25.04). The application can be started once, but no printers can be added. When we close the app and restart it, we get the same error mentioned on GitHub for Azure CLI: https://github.com/Azure/azure-cli/issues/31085 Reverting to 2210 HF4 does resolve the issue, but I am reluctant to downgrade the production version, given that we have just transitioned to Win11 and new containers created with 25.04. Excluding both Cura folders in AppData and LocalAppData using redirection.xml does not resolve the issue for me. Does anyone have any advice, or should we hope for a future fix? What issues should we expect when downgrading from 25.04 to 2210 HF4?

Is there a way to prevent ODFC to mount for published app? I have some app published against the same worker than our prod Desktop. So I can't scope a GPO for it. The only condition that would work is if pub app, do not mount it. I don't think it's possible, is it? Thanks!

Can wildcards be used in a Registry Value Hiding Rule? i.e. all OPEN values HKCU\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Excel\Options\OPEN* What I've found mentioned wildcards can only be used in a Redirection Rule in the Source path.

Hi, one of my customers uses FSLogix Profile containers on Windows Server 2016 Terminalserver. FSLogix Version: 3.25.401.15305 Almost every day, he receives the error message “The semaphore timeout period has expired.” for a few users in the FSLogix logs. The user then receives a temporary profile. The first 5 - 7 users can log in without any problems on the Terminalserver. The FSLogix share is located on a Netapp fileserver. If the metadata file isn't removed on session logoff is there a typical cause for that? Seems to happen randomly.

there is no session logooff. the user are in disconnected state on the server itself but not visible anymore in Citrix Studio/Monitor. Any reconnect isn't possible, if the FSLogix profile container works in normal Mode, means "one sesseion only"

While I choose Prem storage for my VDAs OS disk, do I need prem storage for the FSlogix store? Seems to me the only benefit for premium disks for a fslogix back repository is faster logon and log off. Is there something I am missing?

I'd like to start a thread on the Windows 11 July updates and issues with FSLogix. We are seeing a random pop-up on user logon. I'm monitoring two threads on the issue, as it seems to be affecting others after the July Update introduced a new RESUME feature for OneDrive that May be causing the issue. It's happening on the last two FSLogix versions, including the new 25.06 version. If you delete the user's profile it goes away, but will return on later logins. oddly enough.. I have one particular user who's c:\users\username folder rarely, if ever, gets removed after they log off of an RDS host. What might cause that?

But have a handful of users who are able to open their outlook client, but when they try to send an email, they're getting "the file c:\users\.... .ost cannot be accessed. The device is not ready"

Question about FSLogix Exclusions for OneDrive. We are using OneDrive's 'Files-On-Demand' function. I've noticed that FSLogix is capturing any downloaded files, and they remain marked as available in new sessions, and it is actually saved in the VHDX. Just curious if you all add an Exclusion for the OneDrive path to prevent this from bloating the user's FSLogix container.

Anybody experiencing issues with AADBroker roaming? Got a non-persistent AVD setup with 2 servers. Users use a 2nd Outlook account from outside the tenant. The SSO of their own tenant works correctly, but they have to log into the 2nd Tenant in Outlook each and every time. Roaming Identity is active, but when I check the VHD after the user logs off, the AADBroker folder in AppData is there, but empty.

I've got a customer who are using Profile Containers only but they reckon they've been instructed by MS to turn on the "IncludeTeams" policy setting for ODFC which allegedly fixed some of their issues. Way I look at it, the only effect this would have would be to stop Teams cache being captured into the Profile Container. Is my thinking right? Without having ODFC set to Enabled or a VHDLocations configured for it, I can't see how this would even do anything?

If I want to hide a folder in the user's start menu for all users is FSLogix the right tool to do it, i've tried putting in %appdata% in the object name and it says Invalid Path Specified

when using azure for your Fslogix storage looking at files and handles it doesnt show what server is locking the VHDX is there a easy way to find the machine that has it locked?

Been a long time since I used FSLogix. It's 2025, is there still not a feature that will retroactively purge data that has since been excluded, or is scripting a cleanup still the only way?

Curious, can you flip that registry key/policy setting to name the FSLogix profile folders username_SID instead of the default SID_username at any time? or do you have to rename the folders on your own?

Hi all! AVD Windows 11 24H2 setup with Fslogix 25.06. Users are reporting that they get this "Something went wrong..." from time to time. The event log logs event id 10 and 23 as in the attachment when they sign in to Windows, probably when OneDrive starts, I guess. Hello, we have a strange problem with FSLogix Profile Container. Our customer needs about 2-3 minutes to open his Citrix session. When connecting, it hangs for about 2 minutes on : Waiting on Fslogix Apps Service.. We upgrade to the latest fslogix version but the problem is already here. Antivirus exclusions are added but same problem. Do you have some ideas ? Thanks
