I'll have to play with this some. But is it normal not to see the redirection.xml under the profile? The docs say under root profile\appdata\fslogix\rexdirection.xml But it don't see it. Just wanted to see the format so I don't butcher it.

You can only exclude folders using the redirections.xml https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/fslogix/manage-profile-content-cncpt. If you want to clean out some registry keys at logoff you’ll have to use something like a log off script or scheduled task at log off or a 3rd party. You could do something fancy with App Masking redirection rules, so the keys are redirected outside HKCU, though I’ve not tested it myself.

Dang, cleaning out the registry setting isn't my issues . It's excluded it from the profile. We need that function like UPM has. So just to confirm I can't exclude reg settings correct? Thank you for ur response

That’s correct, the MS docs state “The redirections.xml file instructs the FSLogix agent to redirect specific folders out of the profile container”. If I’m reading your question correctly, you have some registry settings (not files) that if captured in HKCU will cause login delays, therefore why not delete them at logoff (logoff script or similar) , so there not there at the next logon. The profile container is dismounted after the logoff script has run.

Yes you are 100% however, my users don't always log off and they go into a disconnected state. Then the timer kicks them off. Wait, I guess that is considered a log off then correct?
This is the key https://support.citrix.com/article/CTX212905 I have no idea why or where it comes from lol

Correct it is

No problem

So if anybody runs across this thread and is wondering the steps I took. What I did was a external task with WEM to delete the key. I stay away from GPP all possible.
