09/17/2019, 11:04 AMYou should be able to install the new hypervisor tools in your Platform layer so that you can use your existing layers moving forward. That's the route I'd go if I had an established environment, unless you only have a few layers. If it's a small environment, it wouldn't take long to just start fresh with new layers if you really wanted to go that route.

09/17/2019, 11:07 AMThe app layers rely on the OS layer where they have been build on. So a new revision of that OS layer will need to include support to run on the new hypervisor like drivers etc.. For portability you'll also need to update the platform layer to support the target hypervisor.
