I'm just curious how large these new CR environments being deployed, are 🙂

Another question is: The teams deploying these CR environments are actually the ones managing them?
n
greenfield, always CR. No different than deploying VMWare or a new firewall I would say. Always start with the latest

Can’t wait to get next LTSR release, then things will change. The feature gap is too big since 7.15

@Nick Casagrande what's the average number of seats fro these greenfield environments you're talking about?

We are on-prem CR, 800 seats and expanding. 4-man (busy!) team managing full infrastructure stack. As best we can anyway :)
n
ive helped with a few, 300/400
nothing in healthcare though which is where LTSR seems to be used most of the time, at least from what ive heard
u
Yeah, so we don't have customers smaller than 1000 seats and that's a small number too so that's why the standard is LTSR for us. Most of the customers are way higher with very complex deployments and this switch to Agile just decreased the quality of the product. We can't take the risk of running into bugs during deployments or major changes. In the end comes the part with upgrading the environments every several months to keep them in support. But thanks for the info man!
n
totally understand

Feeling like I have sneaked past the bouncers into the nightclub here as an end customer! ☺️
