Is Citrix Quick Launch still a thing? I think in the Quick Launch tool you were essentially telling it the contents of the ICA file, IIRC, so maybe th delay is because it needs to broker the connection on the full client?

All the delay i am describing is after the session is brokered... the difference is happening with login actions... e.g. Applying User Settings, Preparing Windows, etc... I actually also tested launching from a windows PC with latest workspace app and it faster than IGEL... odd...

Check different receiver/workspace version on IGEL, also upgrading to the latest firmware might help. Any devices connected to IGEL which are passed through into the session?

Thanks will try a newer IGEL and see if any different... No connected devices on the device but you got me thinking that the HDX config in the IGEL profile might have a role in this but tbh I never thought that a client can have that kind of effect on login... Was curious to see of anyone has seen something similar...
