I can test it in time if you dont figure it out before then. Facebook = the devil IMHO 🙂
j
I agree, but we open it for users so I'd rather them render satan on their own machine instead of my session hosts :)
r
Very true man. What seems to be the issue you are having? One thing I do when doing this BCR, if open up the developer tools and try to catch all the directs and information so I can add it to BCR policy
j
It just doesnt do redirection on Facebook or twitter
The icon stays grey, so I must be missing some subdomains or something
r
Yea, that is what is happening I belive.
I would run a fiddler while accessing it to see it all. Or F12 and enable network on dev tools in the broswer

Thank you for the help. Will do

you could be going down a rabbit hole on this one, anything you set in bcr policy will most likely be very dynamic based on how FB moves workloads....i could be wrong, but ive tried things like this in the past before and it never worked out. too bad *.facebook.com wouldnt' work for you
j
Yeah the cdns look dynamic. I think it's a lost cause. I mean not a huge deal, lots of sites work fine.
n
i have youtube and a few news sites in there, that's it. if i can offload 50% of the traffic, i'd be thrilled with that
j
Hey same. That's a good goal I think
n
i can't write a lick of code, however why citrix did it like this is beyond me. i guess maybe there's no way to just re-direct everything coming into the active tab or window perhaps?
