irfanview has been my go-to for ages

I haven't seen that one before, but it's only free for personal or education. Greenshot is open source and released under the GNU General Public License. VLC is also open source but that's more for video/audio.

Hi Wouter.. I was the same and just about to deploy it but I think they have changed their licensing model (or I never realised there was one) .. was is a shame cause it is always lightening quick

Greenshot is for taking screenshots not just viewing, different usecase.
but yes I forgot about that license, (haven't managed euc in production for a few years by now so that info got stowed away somewhere)

@Wouter Kursten (ControlUp), that's definitely true about Greenshot. I was thinking it could be used as an image viewer with FTA, but I don't think you can disable the screen shot function so it's not a good fit.

Thanks guys, I'm currently mucking about with ImageGlass (saw it on Deyda's list of apps). Seems to be ticking a lot of my boxes in that its free, and has a customisable interface.

Maybe https://imageglass.org/ is good. It appears to be open source, but I've never used it

I've looked at ImageGlass, JPEGView and paint.net and they all work well in an RDS environment.
