Hello! Do you see anything specific for the above service via start > run > eventvwr.msc > administrative events?

How did you do the VDA upgrade? Citrix has done a poor job of communication of the deprecation of the VDA clean-up utility. Here's what I do for all my VDA upgrades (desktop or server OS) 1. Un-install VDA 2. Reboot 3. Run VDA clean-up utility 4. Reboot 5. Re-install VDA 6. Reboot 7. Check the %appdata%\local\temp\Citrix\XenDesktop install.log for any errors 8. Check that all VDA related services are started via start > run > services.msc 9. Check eventvwr administrative events for any Citrix related errors 10. test VDA registration 11. Test VDA logon

As always, just run the installer and let it do it's thing. I can see your point but really, shouldn't the installer take care of that by itself? I have of course used the clean-up utility but only when things for some reason has gone clearly wrong. But I can of course give it a try. For now though we are recovering the service automatically. Thanks!
