Seeing this more and more on 2507 CU2 on Server 2025, with no real resolution in sight.
Curious to know if anyone uninstalled the CPM WMI Plug-in from the VDA install to resolve this: learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/teams-client-vdi-requirements-deploy _"The parameter is incorrect" error can be caused by other file system drivers. Running fltmc from an elevated command window lists the drivers. Two Citrix drivers (UPMAction and upmjit) can cause the error, even if you're only using FSLogix HotFix 4 and don't have Citrix Profile Manager. This error happens because Citrix VDA installers typically install profilemgt_x64.msi by default for Citrix Director monitoring of logon time counters. Removing that MSI can fix "the parameter is incorrect" error._ I have to assume they mean the WMI plug-in because that's the component that handles the data being sent to Monitor.

think they just mean that if your using fslogix, you should only be installing the cpm wmi plugin by using the 'exclude' params, not the full blown cpm install.
your on a newer fslogix build?

CPM here with mirrored folder acceleration (aka containers) for Teams
Really didn't see issues with CU1, but moving the users to CU2 and now it happens often.
Same goes for 2607.

Get-AppxPackage MSTeams
is this showing the appx package registered when this occurs?
n
Gonna have to give that a shot when I can. I've been largely unable to replicate the issue myself.
and currently my self-service repair script is running Reset-AppxPackage and then Add-AppxPackage -Register.
I can actually see the Layering Service register Teams after the user logs on (we're an App Layering shop) in the Event Log
d
I see this all the time and my solution is a ps1 logon script only with reregister of teams for every user
n
Care to share that script?
d
I send It when I’m back online with my laptop.

Any chance you can check for that script today?
