I have a customer that wants to set a requirement for "compliant device" for all apps in using Entra ID. Has anyone solved this without adding exceptions on the rules for Citrix Servers? Is it possible to get a "compliant device" state by enrolling the servers in Defender for Endpoint?

I noticed recently, within the last month, that Teams no longer prompts me to restart when switching between HDX Optimized to SlimCore and vice versa. I'm also eagerly waiting for the Mac SlimCore preview this month.

Has anyone faced Teams 2.0 not always automatically launching at logon in S25 multi-session (NP PVS)? I can launch it manually, and the option to open at start is selected, but every few logons it simply doesn't open. Actually seeing the same with Webex.

Has anyone got into the weeds on Teams VDI QoS policies at all? Looks like the commands are different for normal Teams QoS vs the optimized/slimcore Teams QoS, due to the actual process. For Teams VDI endpoint QoS rules they want you to apply the QoS to "MsTeamsVdi.exe". For Non VDI endpoint QoS they want you it applied to "ms-teams.exe". From what i'm seeing you can't apply QoS to both processes. They want you to separate them based upon endpoint use case, which doesn't work in all scenarios where a device is shared b/t multiple suers that may use Teams inside Citrix/VDI, or the local Teams install. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/vdi-2

Anyone know how to control this option (Edge, automatically sign in with your work account) via GPO/regedit? I have tried every combination of Edge policy settings I can think of, and have not found a way to switch this on outside of manually toggling it.

Looks like Slimcore Teams VDI optimization is now available for Citrix with macOS clients. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/vdi-2 Is it working for anyone? I have all the correct versions and the client-side plugin installed, but Teams is still using the "old" HDX optimization.

We GeoIP block outbound traffic, but lately this causes Office apps to hit blocks when they attempt to hit a CDN endpoint in a blocked country (Teams/Co-Pilot/etc). FWIW, we do use Palo Alto's EDLs to manage allow-lists, but we suspect they didn't catch the latest updates. Aside from manually updating or reaching out to Palo Alto about outdated EDLs, is there a way to not hit countries we intend to block?

has anyone's teams 2.0 randomly uninstall/disappear on server 2025? the autoupdate key is set to never and today it was gone for everyone. very strange, combed through logs without anything standing out.

After Upgrade from Teams with a FSlogix PRofile the customer see the attached error when i try to add teams in the user context. command: Add-AppxPackage -MainPackage "MSTeams_8wekyb3d8bbwe" -RegisterByFamilyName The app is installed in machine context.

Anyone manage to successfully preview Teams Slimcore for Mac? My user account is in the "Show Teams preview features" "On for users in Current Channel (Preview)" policy, but I've never seen the preview actually work. This was the same way the Windows Slimcore was enabled a couple of years ago and I didn't have any issue with it activating.

late to the party regarding MS teams and slimcore optimization. I got the MS teams VDI plugin on latest CWA, 2507CU1 VDA's , Virtual channel allow list set for MS teams, Latest version of MS teams but when i check its still using HDX optimized / WEBRTC is there is a policy at the tenant level that needs to be set ?

Has anyone actually moved from Folder Redirection (in a user's home drive) to OneDrive seamlessly? I'm not seeing much out there, and the Migration Manager and SharePoint Migration tools don't look like they're actually suited for this.

Anyone running Teams 2.x in a seamless app in S19+? Based on what I'm reading, it looks like you're limited to basically running Teams PWA/Edge with no optimization. We have Teams installed in our desktop image, but you can't publish that shortcut as a seamless app.

Anyone been able to stop hyperlinks from opening in MS Edge in Classic outlook? Chrome is the default browser at OS level for web browser and default for file types like htm/html ect but clicking hyperlinks in outlook they open in ms edge. This setting is greyed out even tho i got no polices that control it

Hi Guys, We are moving off ADFS and started testing passthrough authentication. test users started having multiple logon prompts while launching office apps. our Citrix workers are 2022 server domain joined and PVS streamed. (and we also use Citrix FAS and FSLogix ODFC + UPM) I see a lot of people use Hybrid join these days. any gotchas with that - like cleaning hundreds of accounts from Azure AD every week? any additional steps like excluding or adding anything to Fslogix ODFC containers or UPM.

switched M365 Apps to monthly enterprise channel from semi annual channel because users needed to use co pilot in Excel/Word/Powerpoint (Only shows if they have Co pilot license). Unlicensed users dont get the Co pilot button in Excel/Word ect which is fine and expected but they do get it in Classic outlook on this update channel (We dont use new outlook and its not installed and i hide the Try new outlook toggle in classic outlook). The co pilot button in classic outlook has limited functionality due to most actions linking to New outlook so is useless and i need to get rid. I cant find any GPO to turn it off in classic outlook using latest ADMX's. I did manage to get rid of it by turning the below option off but again there isnt a GPO setting for this and the reg hacks i seen dont seem to work. Anyone managed to hack this ?

How is everyone handling Teams as a published app where by default it remains open on close? I wrote a PS script to edit the app_settings.json file to change _keep_app_running_on_close_ from True to False, and while it works, the second a user goes into Settings the change is reverted back to True.

Am I crazy, or should the Teams GPU process be low/non-existent on a Windows 365/Azure VM (in Citrix, so still ICA) where Teams is optimized (SlimCore)? Left is my W365 VM, right is my home endpoint.

Would you guys use anything less than 4 vcpu / 16GB mem for w365 machines? I feel like I tested 2 cpu and just felt sluggish doing anything.

I was under the impression it would only impact new installs (Cant choose SAC anymore)

Anyone else seeing M365 apps requesting frequent authentication? Not so much a problem, but an annoyance as many users have to do a full MFA authentication after only two hours of using Excel for example.

Has anyone configured Onedrive known folder redirection\sync for the 'desktop' folder on environments where Citrix Workspace places pub app/desktop shortcuts in that same folder? Reading some info that says you may experience duplicate icons in this scenario and that some folks solve it by blocking the .lnk extension from getting synced.

I have the following question.....I’m trying to get a Bloomberg Keyboard working on a Windows 365 Cloud PC (Windows endpoint), but the fingerprint scanner and microphone are not passing through to the session. Keystrokes work fine. Current Setup & Policies Applied: • Cloud PC Intune Policy: Do not allow supported Plug and Play device redirection set to Disabled. • Endpoint GPO: Allow RDP redirection of other supported RemoteFX USB devices from this computer set to Enabled. Has anyone successfully configured the Bloomberg biometric module and mic for W365 Cloud PCs? Are there specific Intune RDP custom properties, USB Vendor IDs (VID/PID), or endpoint client settings we need to explicitly allow?
