We are migrating users from Windows 10 to 11 virtual desktops shortly here. In regards to Outlook signatures does anyone have a good way to make those follow them? in the past we'd have to run a script to copy that folder somewhere and then another to restore. maddening that MS doesn't sync this for users yet (unless i've missed something)

Anyone been seeing issues where the Microphone isn't working with Teams when using Horizon with optimized redirection, in the past week or so? After doing updates, been having some strange behaviors, like the Mic not working on calls (Despite Teams showing as Omnissa Optimized). Additionally two users experienced unsent messages (empty circle), where Teams wouldn't send messages. When the client was left to sit for 6 hours, the messages finally sent. I've never seen this in any of the environments I've deployed/manage.

You need that new Quantum chip from Microsoft to run Teams properly now so it can be in a state where it is crashed and not crashed what means it will work no matter what

Installed teams 2.0 via script to vdi. Seems to launch, then close automatically and loops through this process. Something I'm missing? Windows 10.

Running the testconnectivity.microsoft.com Teams/Calendar checker, I'm seeing failures to myexchangesub.myorg.tld/api - Which I expect because I don't have a CS Policy for /api.... Did I miss documentation that we need /api for Hybrid/Teams? Even if I did....how does it work at all w/o that CS Policy?

Hi, is there a good guide to implementing Onedrive on a non-persistent Citrix Virtual Desktop environment using FSLogix. I am currently experiencing very strange issues with some users that Onedrive has a spinning wheel during login. Some days it works without issue, but the next day it crashes again. With New Teams installs on phys/persistent desktops that are hot-seated (Conference rooms), we're doing the per-machine installer. With Classic we used to setup a scheduled task at the end of our CM Task Sequence to "install for that user" who is currently logged in. Is this still the best path with New Teams?

Anyone seeing issues with teams VDI classic today ? Machine wide VDI Teams classic installer on server 2016 VDA provisioned using PVS which was installed with ALLUSERS=1 ALLUSER=1 switches probaly 3-6 months ago and has been working fine for months. We get the expected EOS pop up as per the Microsoft VDI teams classic timelines but could always click continue using teams classic button and get in. Today had quite a few people report they get a different popup "Teams needs a update" and then cant go any further it only seems to be affecting certain people and if i log onto the Same VDA via RDP console and login to teams i dont get it and get the expected EOS pop up so it looks like it a policy or something within the Teams tenant affecting certain users. Any ideas ?

Can anybody point me at information (preferably not from Microsoft as I think I have exhausted what they provide) that tells how to properly configure AzureADBroker plugin to work with Citrix where it doesn't cause errors when users change servers? I have gotten my servers Hybrid Domain Joined, but still have errors and I think the users aren't able to properly authenticate with the AAD broker plugin and I probably have something simple misconfigured somewhere. I have tons of errors that in the Microsoft -> Windows -> AAD -> Operational log, but nothing that I have been able to make any sense or find any help figuring out what they really mean. Our users are federated, and there may be some configuration in our Identity Provider needed as well, and I have them involved in looking at this as well. I just can't find any real information. I'm just grasping at straws here trying to find anything or anyone that really understands the process and how I can get Office not to error out on a regular basis when users switch servers.

Maybe I am dreaming, and the search box is failing me, but did someone mention a private hotfix related to Microsoft Teams 2.0 causing session disconnects?

Over the past 6-8 weeks or so, our helpdesk has been receiving tickets for people stating that Outlook (for Microsoft 365 MSO Version 2408) will stop updating/receiving new emails for random users. Nothing they do except recreate the mail profile fixes it (allegedly), and I guess sometimes that doesn't even work. We are running Citrix VAD on Server 2022. Another image/machine catalog is not having this issue - the main difference is that in the problematic one, internet traffic gets routed through a Cisco Umbrella VPN tunnel for web filtering, and the problem free image does not. That's not to say there isn't some other difference to attribute it to, we've just been unable to find it. Running MS Connectivity Reports between the two images shows all tests passing for the unfiltered servers, and the ones that go through the VPN are getting alerts for proximity to the EXO entrance point (we typically get routed to a Cisco datacenter in Dallas), but what I suspect the true culprit is are failed tests for SSL interception for many of the Outlook and M365 URLs. Our security engineer is insistent bypassing content filtering for those URLs is too risky, typical security dude stuff. But the fact the connectivity reports cite that as an issue, which MS recommends disabling, seems to be a decent enough place to start given what we're seeing between the two images. Anybody dealt with similar issues before? Either with Outlook stops receiving new email, or with a web filter like Umbrella messing with M365 suite?

I have a new user that gets this almost every morning logging into an RDS host with an FSLogix profile. My understanding is thats when she tries to get into Outlook. If you say "yes, all apps" it just spins and nothing happens. If you say "this app only" outlook opens up, but rinse/repeat next time is what I'm told. Sometimes her login says "other user". It might only be happening on one host but i havent tracked that yet. Debating just deleting her fslogix profile and starting fresh

Is anyone here hybrid joining VDAs, but also then blocking Workplace Join? We have been doing the opposite initially - leave AAD at image seal, let it workplace join via the normal scheduled task at boot in the provisioned VDA, and everything works fine. However, when you launch an O365 app for the first time, you're presented with the attached screen. We use Okta Silent Activation for our federation, not ADFS. I have a ticket open with MS on this, and they're telling me to block Workplace Join entirely to get rid of that screen. Having a hard time getting them to tell me what we may lose by doing so, however.

Question - right now we are running Office 2016 on our terminal servers, but we'll have to discontinue it this year due to EOL. The majority of our users have F3 licenses, so they only have access to the web apps. Our problem is that once we remove Office 2016, they won't have any locally installed apps that can open office files. Is there any way to have office file extensions open in the web app when you open files from the file explorer on the terminal server? Right now are using a local NTFS share, but we are considering migrating to Sharepoint or Azure files soon.

do other people also get Teams 2 VDI constantly asking for mic / camera permissions? Once allowed, when a new version comes out it asks again and creates new entry in the privacy area. so we have several approved microsoft teams vdi entries.

is slim core working when you see the optimized button on the top left of Teams? Or is that a different optimization notice like traditional citrix\teams optimization?
