CWA 2603.1 x64 - when will we be getting a new version that fixes the copy/paste issue? @Arthur mentioned this in the Technical Preview thread, and I can confirm that the issue is still present. Copy and paste works fine for a period of time and then just stops working entirely. Super frustrating.

Do you perhaps know what CWA version does not have the issue or from what version it started? I just implemented this private fix. But the real deal is indeed within the session itself. https://support.citrix.com/external/article/CTX696659/clipboard-redirection-fails-after-upgrad.html

Not sure, I didn't even know about the issue until Arthur mentioned it.
This is what I get for taking one for the team and installing a new CWA build right away, lol.

The issue is related to CVAD 2507 CU1, not CWA, and it seems to be limited to long sessions lasting more than several hours. Unfortunately, the current hotfix is not fully effective...
n
ugh, really? I apologize to CWA then
a
No worries šŸ˜‰
n
I have seen the issue after less than one hour in my S25 environment
on 2507 CU1
s
is 2507CU2 completely fixed then?
a
Is CU2 for CVAD available yet?
g
Not today
n
Not yet, but if timing stands up, should be in June.
a
Currently, Citrix is unable to provide another hotfix, so I don't expect a fix in CU2... the situation is complicated. Workaround: log out and log back in, which is a poor user experience.
g
I does not seems to happen with IGEL device and their latest linux CWA. When the issue occurs disconnect is not sufficient on the Windows device. Switching to an IGEL solves it. And going back to the Windows device again, it then also works.

For unknown reasons, the copy/paste channel (CTXCLIP) simply dies. Logging out and logging back in restores the channel.
s
ah, sorry, just saw this an didn't read close enough, not out yet.

Support told me August for 2507 CU2.

August? Ouch

But there was an unofficial workaround that works wonders. Copy the broken DLL over from CVAD 2402 CU3. Fixed every issue for us. Was recommended in the Citrix forums. Don't have the link, I’m on vacation.
