Has anyone seen wfica crashes on the directx dll for the various gpu when docking or undocking with external monitors? Rolling out 2507 CWA for a client, and we know about the cu2 memory leak that is fixed with cu3. But still seeing occassional crashes when docking.

I am just reading this docs.citrix.com/en-us/citrix-workspace-app-for-windows/transition-to-64-bit-faq.html We deploy and upgrade CWA through SCCM and are currently on 2507LTSR and it seems there is no automatic upgrade option from 32 bit to 64 bit CWA prior to 2511 and even for versions after that it mentions GACS and CWA Auto update polices for it to be able to switch to x64. Would this apply to SCCM as well ? if we get up to 2607 LTSR CWA 32 bit version and when a CU comes out could we then deploy that through SCCM would we get upgraded from the 32 bit to 64 bit version ??? or are going to have to remove the 32 bit version of CWA / install the 64 bit version of CWA ???

Hi @c4rm0 I will check with my team that when using SCCM to deploy the 32bit version for 2607, can you set a parameter to enable Autoupdate and then the desired Track which which in your case would be LTSR. Once those parameters are set then when the next release of LTSR takes place the Autoupdate will then deploy the 64bit version.

Has anyone seen an issue where CWA 26.07 on Windows breaks Windows Screen Snipping tool? At first I thought it was app protection, but normally that just blacks out the screen, and other snipping tools work fine. Once it's broken it stays broken between reboots. As soon as I uninstall 26.07 and reboot, screen snipping works. And it will continue to work until I connect to a Windows VDA, then it breaks again. But only Windows VDA. Works fine with linux vda.

Citrix published bulletin CTX697034 for Citrix Workspace app for Windows, CVE-2026-78546 and CVE-2026-78547. The fix is in 2507.1 LTSR CU3, there is no workaround, so the only remediation is the version upgrade. One comment: the fixed build was publicly available before the bulletin, and that is not how this should work. If the intent was to give companies time to deploy, the effect is the opposite, because without a clear security flag a new release goes into the normal long test cycle at low priority. Meanwhile anyone who diffs CU2 against CU3 already has the changes mapped out, so the window works for the attacker and not for the defender. @Darius Shafie

Been working another bug with Citrix I want to share. You know how you can claim your internal URL for GACS (Client App Management)? Well with the MAC client it defers to those settings over local settings. Every other client like Linux, Windows, HTML 5 work fine. But MAC won't. If you block GACS in your host file, works fine. Or if you use a URL that wasn't captured by GACS, works fine. Just my luck someone already claimed storefront.home.lab.

We have recently started receiving reports of published applications appearing as a black window after a session reconnect. All affected users are running Citrix Workspace app for Windows 2607 LTSR, and we have observed session auto-reconnect events that coincide with the reported incidents. Circling back on the odd MAC client issues we were seeing when we didn't have an external gateway deployed for internal only sites, and GACS was failing. From Citrix support when I used the private hotfix: "I confirmed that the fix will be in the Citrix Workspace app Mac 2611 release. In your particular case, the Gateway was not configured in the environment and the internal beacon was unreachable. We have added a condition: if the Gateway is not configured, treat the customer as being on the internal network, matching the Windows implementation."

This is starting to get annoying. I've got updates enabled, but checking for updates with the context menu option always shows up to date. Go into the preferences and that's not the case. Pretty sure this started with the first x64 build (I'm on 2603.11 in this screenshot).

Citrix Web Extension issues in Edge when using latest 26.07 LTSR Workspace App. Working OK in Chrome with extension. In Edge I have to remove the extension and download .ica to downloads instead.
