04/28/2026, 6:35 PM"Has anyone added new Windows Server 2025 servers to a CVAD 2507 LTSR Cu1 site? I am currently running Windows Server 2019 for my Delivery Controllers. My plan is to add the 2025 servers, shut down the 2019 servers for about a week, and then remove them completely. Has anyone done this or seen any issues? Also, how long have you run your environment in mixed-OS mode? That shouldn't cause any issues, right?

04/29/2026, 9:55 AMHow are you defining your delivery controllers on your VDA's? Manually during VDA install ? Controllers policy ? setting listofddc's reg key via gpo ? using auto add controllers policy ? MCS personality.ini ?

04/29/2026, 10:01 AMYou have to check all the above options i mentioned and verify because for example if you add them manually during the VDA install and have set them to DDC01 and DDC02 but then build new DDC's DDC03 and DDC04 running server 2025 and turn DDC01 + DDC02 off you will have a outage

04/29/2026, 11:22 AMThanks everyone for your feedback..i manually add the delivery controllers. i will push out the new controllers via group policy. Does anyone know if it makes a difference what key you use ? I usually use the first one and it works fine and not the WOW6432Node key.
