At EUC World, earlier this year, in one of the session it was recommended to use FSLogix with SMB over QUIC. Anyone one remember who did this session or has a recipe that works? I’ve got SMB over QUIC working and if I manually initiate a session to the file server with the QUIC transport then all subsequent mappings will use QUIC, including FSLogix. However, if no initial manual mapping is made then TCP is used. Turns out Windows really prefers TCP vs QUIC if it is available. I haven’t been able to find a mechanism to change that preference. Even blocking port 445 doesn’t work.
