Greetings all, I've been working Citrix Cloud DaaS for years, but have never been involved with renewals. Reviewing the following KB, I'm not 100% clear on the actual user experience impact of a Citrix DaaS entitlement expiring. Is there some form of grace period to allow for users to keep logging into their respective VDAs as we have for on-prem CVAD sites that are licensed by old school .lic files ? When ours expired we received notices in Citrix Cloud about it, but end users did not receive any notification when launching apps/desktops. This was with on-prem StoreFront. I'm not sure if Workspace service is the same. We were told there was a 29 day grace period, but I think the automated emails from Citrix will tell you how many days you have left at some point and I don't think they aligned with the 29 days we were told. It seemed like it was less. We were able to renew before either date was met.

Ok! That’s good news, thank you

Same for Workspace Service, users are not notified, only people access Admin panel.
There's a grace period. Officially, 30 days. You may read between the lines 😉

FYI Grace period was recently changed to 15 days only

Yep, Dan Marsh is correct. 15 days grace for DaaS. However, NetScaler does not have grace period! Citrix NS Console / ADM will potentially reboot all virtual instances when that license expires, and they will revert to eval license throughput / features (behaviour varies between VPX build version and levels). So a late purchase order/payment for your Citrix investment can cause an absolute disaster if you are not careful.

Also be aware that from VDA 2308 users receive notifications if licenses have expired or are out of maintenance. https://support.citrix.com/external/article/CTX587662/citrix-license-warning-your-corporate-c.html
