Citrix vs Unicon [State May 2025] Has anyone here worked with Citrix non-enterprise customers who tried to obtain eLux (Unicon) licenses for a PoC or purchase? At the moment, the licensing situation seems quite unclear. There’s a Unicon Acquisition FAQ [1] (you can find via google search) in which point 5 is particularly interesting, but it specifically targets enterprise customers who have an ATS. If I am not mistaken, non-enterprise customers don’t have an ATS, as they’re typically supported through partners. Has anyone (Partner or Customer) already opened this Pandora’s box and can share how that went? Because it seems UHMC is not the same as UHMC for every Citrix customer (Enterprise or Non-Enterprise). I am still just waiting to get Citrix tied licensing for it. There is all the talk about it, but it's unobtanium for Citrix customers that now own it.

I'm trying to get one atm. My ATS has requested one, but still waiting for the license.

You can download from the unicon website still and Scout has a built in trial lic for a small amount of elux devices. For windows devices, I think a different lic is needed...

@Markus Zehnle, just got the reply. There is an internal Citrix Intern form which your ATS can fill in. Then you can get a 60 day trial

Does anyone know how this should be handled?

You can download the full version now from the myelux login portal. I was able to get the latest for everything and demo it for my team. I think that there will just email you the links to get setup to download.

OK, this generates a technical user to install Scout in Enterprise mode. Unfortunately, the device licenses are still missing.

When I installed the latest versions it didn't prompt for licenses.
