05/06/2025, 7:23 AMYou are trying to import an ADMX, this is not a GPO.
You should import your GPO (with all the settings set) in WEM, and it will import the settings by translating to registry keys.

05/06/2025, 5:54 PMCite: If you are importing .admx & *.adml files, then you need to import via the template based option in the WEM console under "Group Policy Settings".

05/06/2025, 6:01 PMI tried that. First with your template set containing all admx and adml files and then only with the Edge ADMX templates. Extracted from the cab file, copied to a single folder and zipped it. No difference.

05/06/2025, 6:13 PMI just tested mine, and they worked. Make sure you are going to Group Policy settings, then click Template-based, and click Manage Template, then click Import there.

05/06/2025, 6:15 PMTry removing the extra language folders. I tested it with only the en_us folder and it worked. When I included all languages in the ZIP, the error came back - maybe it’s a file-size issue?

1. Works only when removing other ADML folders from the ZIP
2. Size can't be greater than 4MB per ZIP.
3. Exporting all amdx templates from SYSVOL and importing them into WEM service is not possible due to the restrictions mentioned above.
@Sharp Guo is this per design or a limitation?
