Have a request for WEM. I'd like to see a filter that checks disconnected sessions on an image. Often RDS will barf and a machine will occasionally stack up with disconnected ghost sessions. Would like that as a condition to execute a scripted task to reboot the machine.

Have done this with Controlup. Not sure if WEM is capable for this.

You could just do this with simple powershell executed by WEM today right? It would be scheduled more then triggered though given its machine logic here based on a number of specifics

I was thinking about hooking the scripted tasks function they put in recently. It has some restart services and restart computer function built in. Having that monitoring logic in the filters and conditions would allow non-persistent machines being more zero touch. Remember the old Templeton line of a dog for security, and the guy to feed the dog? #reminisce

Be an interesting one on how to determine ghost sessions vs non ghost sessions

It should be possible with quser or if a user has only/exact 4 processes running. Thank God I didn’t have to worry about ghost sessions for almost a year

An issue that pops up for us is people getting a session started, then disconnected. Have some that will have hundreds of disconnected sessions with no users, I was thinking just look at those numbers and bounce it.
