So, apparently when you RDP into an RDS server (server 2025), that is pointing to an RDS Licensing server (Server 2016) the actual Licensing service crashes on the licensing server. I understand that you can't dish out licenses to a higher OS than what the licensing server is, but a service crash was unexpected. Anyone run into this issue before? Found a couple other online articles with others having the same problem.

I have a 2025 server pointing to a 2022 licensing server. Doesn't crash there.
