I fail changing the VDA Port from 80 to 443. Any hints?
PS C:\Program Files\Citrix\Broker\Service> .\BrokerService.exe /show
SDK Port: 80
VDA Port: 80
StoreFront Port: 80
StoreFront TLS Port: 443
Certificate is in place and I've set even XmlServicesEnableNonSsl =0. https://support.citrix.com/s/article/CTX220062-ssl-configuration-on-vda
r
this for Enable-SSL on VDA?
b
It's for the communication between VDA and DDC:
r
Oh the standard XML from 80 to 443.
b
yess. VDA is not even necessary as we have only gateway communication.
d
Did you bind a cert on the DDCs?
c
i have only ever secured DDC XML traffic over 443, HDX traffic over 443 using the enable-ssl powershell script, VDA registration over port 80 uses WCF so there has never been a need to use SSL as its already encrypted using kerberos
b
I did. Currently troubleshooting with this article: https://www.archy.net/enable-ssl-on-xendesktop-7-x-xml-service/
@c4rm0 That would mean I’m already set. It’s a company policy that no HTTP traffic is allowed in this environment. IMO changing the registration port to 8443 would meet this requirement.
