CVAD - svchost.exe_TermService Crash Hi, I have some crash of svchost.exe_TermService (RPM.dll) with Windows 2022 and VDA 2402 (also with 2203 CU4 and 5). The issue seems to be generated by a user reconnection. Does anyone experience the same issue ? I will try the following registry key but I am not confident. HKLM:\SOFTWARE\Citrix\Ica\GroupPolicy EnforceUserPolicyEvaluationSuccess = 0 (Dword) HKLM:\SOFTWARE\Citrix\Reconnect FastReconnect = 0 (DWORD)

Hello Julien, where are you seeing those crashes reported? Are they in Event Viewer, and if so, what is the Event ID and role of the server reporting them (DDC, SF, VDA...)? I would like to try and find them in my environment. 🙂 We have been seeing some problems since Monday, July 29 with either app launches or reconnections. I'll ask users for feedback on if they're specific to reconnections per your observation. We have a mix of LTSR 2203 CU5 and LTSR 2402 RTM, and the problems seem to be specific to LTSR 2402 RTM. We had to specify the EnforceUserPolicyEvaluationSuccess and two other registry settings back in LTSR 2203 CU2. The LTSR 2203 CU3 update removed the EnforceUserPolicyEvaluationSuccess setting (but leaving the other two in place) with no ill effect, so I did not restore that setting. I wonder if it's needed once again with LTSR 2402 RTM...

Good to know, we’ve been seeing a large uptick in reconnect issues, sounds like we need to upgrade too

FYI, we received a private HF (RMP.dll for 2402). The customer will test it as soon as possible.

@Robert Blissitt we're you seeing people getting reconnected to the wrong server by any chance? We've been seeing both app launch failures and sometimes people won't reconnect back to their same session and get a profile already in use error

@Nick Patel I can't say for sure whether that was happening or not happening. I thought something like what you describe was happening, but I was testing with two accounts simultaneously (admin and non-admin accounts; one logged in via CWA and the other via browser on the same endpoint), and that complicated things.
