I've started having an issue where I can't update machine catalogs or add machines and MCS errors out with a: "StudioErrorId : ProvisioningTaskError ErrorCategory : NotSpecified TaskState : ValidationFailure TaskStateInformation : Terminated ErrorId : ValidationFailure Operation : ValidatingInputs ErrorMessage : CustomProperties: invalid custom property value for FolderId '' Some catalogs can still update and those ones have no value in the get-provscheme customproperties field. The ones with problems contain "<CustomProperties xmlns="http://schemas.citrix.com/2014/xd/machinecreation" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance">Property xsi:type="StringProperty" Name="UseManagedDisks" Value="true" /Property xsi:type="StringProperty" Name="ManagedDisksPreview" Value="false" //CustomProperties" We never set that value. All attempts to clear that value never work. I've tried setting the null value to a variable from another working catalog but it just continues to persist that above string. These machines are not on Azure and we never set that value. Support is investigating but wondering if anyone has seen this. Just started in the last 2 weeks (known successful update of affected catalogs 4/15/2024). We tried to add the FolderID value as well but it doesn't persist either. I can create new catalogs but that becomes a pain and will affect naming and process etc. Ideally would love to sort this out.

I am facing machine catalogs updates issue as well, but different error Message : Validation of Set Prov Scheme failed Object reference not set to an instance of an object. We have an ongoing incident with Citrix, so far, nothing found.

This is on VMware. These catalogs have been functional for years until recently. @Jing Song Huang any specific timeline? how do you know?

@Terry R I don’t have a firm timeline. The testing and rollout will take a bit time. I’ll let you know when the fix is rolled out. Would you DM me your org ID?
