weirdly enough doing this 'fixes' other session hosts with users who are having issues
s
Not sure what happened at that time. could you help to check the WEM logs and the windows event logs? thanks!
n
What markers should i be looking for? anything that would standout
s
Any warning/error logs we should notice.
Do you assign many actions in the WEM?
n
Define many 😞
We havent added much to this instance for a while....the users who have a ton of stuff added to it are having some issues - what i did is enable caching and i disabled the UI Refresh and it has made a diference
j
you didn't have offline mode enabled?
n
Dont hurt me
j
Face. Palm.
no wonder it was hurting!
n
I read your blog
j
The rant box?
s
how many actions have they added? and maybe try the following setting to reduce the threads: Agent Max Degree of Parallelism. The maximum number of threads the agent can use. Default value is 0 (as many threads as physically allowed by the processor), 1 is single-threaded, 2 is dual-threaded, and so on. Usually, this value does not need changing.
it's better to capture the process dump file so we can do the following analysis. thanks! procdump –ma <Process Name> x:\procdump\ProcessName.dmp
n
On the agent or server?
session host
s
on the session host to capture the dump file when users log on.
n
I have agent logging enabled - thats capturing data
s
Good! could you share the agent UI debug log file?
n
I will copy it out, you got a sharefile or something i can send it to
s
n
The UI rfresh being disabled, this has made the noise go away and users can work without issues.......very odd
j
well that and you set the cache up properly.....
half-the-story-bob 🙂
n
