Yea, Def check the AV exclusions. I saw this at times when I added a Redirections.xml file. It was left over the temp data instead of silently deleting it. I would find the location, and remove it from the Redirections.xml. But it did not always help. Another reason I saw this was locked files and it could not delete it correctly. You are probably seeing user1_local many times, which each one of the numeric values going up.
This means user1, username2, username3, and so on. For a user, check the logs and see if you see anything like this?
