There are a lot of options, would need to have more details than just getting rid of GPOs. Also why GPOs must be removed as that seems a bit limiting

Thanks for the suggestions We do not have hands on the AD infra and we experienced several times issues with how the GPO are applied and synced between domain controllers so, I was asked to replace them.

I'd spend some time to look into your AD infra before deploying a band aid
