that's valid point, but we are not using UWP apps on customers with disabled AppReadinessservice and never had any issues, on the other way we had a trouble when we re-enabled back AppReadiness, some users had an issue with black screen affecting published desktops. Anyway it's always good to consider disabling this service (on win2016) because MS is not much happy about it and the Citrix article is no longer available for a public use.

Hmmm, not so sure. I was using disabling it as a way to improve logon times and it was impossible to do Windows Updates successfully in the gold image when it was disabled. I suppose you could re-enable it for update purposes, but if you had to push OOB patches it might give you an issue. YMMV

we are disabling the service when the image is streamed so after the golden image is done to avoid similar issues like this.

Oh, which setup do you prefer for a HA (High Availibilty)-FSL-Fileserver then? For example to do get maintainance window for that fileserver.

VHDLocations with replication for me.....there are loads of other stuff you can do like SOFS as well
