Only one I know about is: %SystemRoot%\System32\Winevt\Logs\Microsoft-Windows-GroupPolicy\Operational.evtx
r
Hmmm, that applies to WEM?
I can look as well, just asked wtihout looking
Looking right now. If that is listed, then it would be great.

When you wrote native GPO, I thought you meant where to find native GPO logs 🙂 I don't know if you can find anything about WEM in that event log
r
Oh sorry bro. Yea, I mean basically how to find the logs for GPO from a WEM aspect. Normal GPO logs are great, but WEM side I am digging. My client, is like why would we switch to WEM and use GPO feature is logs are not their haha. I told him, Fear not, I will find them. May have put my foot in my mouth on this one LOL.

But hey, thanks for trying to help me.

So this isn't the customer where you disabled Wem User Logon service, right? 🙂
r
Oh no, this is another customer. But good question.

What about in the Citrix WEM Agent Init.log file? This is taken from that .log: MainController.ReadAgentConfiguration() : Reading Group Policy Global Settings...
r
II did not see anything yesterday, but I can check once more to ensure. Let me double check to confirm. What is strange, WEM processes all the computer GPOs that I moved over from native GPO into WEM. They show in the registry under the HKLM\Software\Polices\ But some settings apply according to the functions in windows, and some just are ignored. Oh, and if you use the Web Wem Console, and import ADMX files like Chrome. The file is to large and WEM says nope sorry to big. Citrix may need to increase that file size and 3rd party ADMX files are outside of our control.
All it says is this "15329 PM Event -> MainController.ReadAgentConfiguration() : Reading Group Policy Global Settings..." but nothing like applied "GPOname" or processed GPO name
Going to enable debug and see if that adds more info
d
Seems like lack of info, from Citrix' side... again 😞

Appears that way. But I try to give them the benefit of the doubt first. I know they have a lot going on and things happen
