Been toying around with Citrix Workspace App Auto Update, and been noticing something weird. I set everything up with the ADMX and the user can initiate updates from right clicking on CWA in tray --> check for updates. Works just fine. I set deferred count to 3 - and was under the impression that CWA would force update (silently?) if the user deferred 3 times. That seems not to be the case. Unless... I create the following registry value: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Citrix\ICA Client\AutoUpdate] "Banned"="" I can see it being referenced here: https://admx.help/?Category=CitrixWorkspace&Policy=receiver.Policies.receiver::Policy_EnableAutoUpdatePolicy But can not find much info on it. I assume it is being used when you want to block auto update for certain versions of CWA. Anyone worked with Radware as a front end to StoreFront/NSG?

We're having an issue getting it implemented, and I believe the problem is they are doing a decrypt/encrypt of the SSL traffic, and I'm diagramming out why this fails, but I don't know exactly how the gateway detects it and rejects it. It'll help with the presentation about this.

[thread]: Dig through the dism.log to see where its failing? I usually have to get Microsoft involved and even then its lucky if we find a KB that needs installed or something. Last one I did I had to inplace upgrade it back to the same OS version.
