Ok then you either didn't reboot after fully patching or license key, or the aperture in bios is not 1024

Ok this is what i did.. if the server is configured with “server will use integrated GPU” I Can’t assign the vGPU. so I switched it over to “this server will not use integrated GPU” and I can now assign passthrough or vGPU but the problem is that I can’t see anything on the console anymore

    03/25/2017, 6:34 AM
yes you can rmeote desktop in via the console
  • u

    user

    03/25/2017, 6:34 AM
no I mean, the console of the host is gone
  • u

    03/25/2017, 6:34 AM
hdx3d pro has always had that requirement
  • u

    user

    03/25/2017, 6:34 AM
    not talking about hte VM
  • u

    user

    03/25/2017, 6:34 AM
anytime hdx3d pro is enabled in the VM, you lose the XC console for it

the other interesting thing is that as soon as I change that setting and reboot the host when the host comes back only XC shows the VM with the vGPU already assigned. I’m wondering if it is just a XC thing that is showing “none” when it is really assigned.

I’m talking about a physical monitor connected to the skullcanyon. Once I change that setting I no longer have a display tthat works

I guess the only way to test my theory of “it is showing none but it is really selected” will be by testing the HDX3d pro” right?

but if the host is configured with “this server will use the integrated GPU” I can’t assign the vGPU. I guess I can assign but it doesn’t stick on XC

I’m not refering to the VM, I’m refering to the host.. when the host setting is like the image below. I have no physical output on the monitor connected to the skullcanyon
