I was about to write a guide on how I got the USG this far but now I'm like screw it, everyone should feel this pain and complain to UBNT until they update their online docs (which is actually pretty decent) or build some check boxes in for this type of functionality. The only vendor that seems to take mDNS seriously is Cisco.

Oh wait, I don't think Prime is allowed to connect to Chromecast so I guess it's working normally then. What's missing from the Prime app is the FireTV. Some of these devices use different protocols for discovery (mDNS, DIAL, etc). So I'll need to do more research. VLAN to VLAN was fairly straight forward to get around. My main issue is now with the default isolation policies on the guest VLAN then. If you set the VLAN as guest and flip on guest policies on the wireless network how I've been able to make it sort of work so far is using pre-auth access which I don't want to do because it seems insecure to me. The Routing and Firewall GUI is labeled BETA and seems to ignore everything I define under source and destination.

Yes for all the cables and power supplies. The plan back home is to create a fake floor with plexi where all that stuff goes

@Steve Elgan ubnt rocks totally. The EdgeSwitch PoE line is awesome (250w version), and I use their EdgeRouter-X is almost every situation. UniFi is great as well, except for the controller requirement (only setup and upgrades, but still PITA if you ask me).
