The deviders are expensive, we can do acroyl like @User and use the VESA bracket that comes with the Skull

I don't know yet, need to get my hands on the case to see and work it out. But right now the plan is 4-5 Skull, 24 port Cisco, 2 TPLink, EdgeRouter Lite3 and maybe a AP

Some of my existing equipment has cable runs slightly shorter than what it takes to get the run through top of rack and down the channels. I'm gonna try these little inline couplers. If they don't work then I'm probably gonna need to figure out something with a patch panel outside the rack and then run extensions from that.

@User: sk's will be loaded depending on what I'm doing. Will be using the xeon d ones for main cluster, etc. leaning hyper-v with s2d

@User: the acrylic I used was to build a false floor in the case and mount the gear to the false floor using dual lock. This allowed me to hide the power bricks underneath it as well and remove the false floor if tsa needed me to

I found trying to use the vesa mounts with the acrylic difficult to do, and the nucs would come off if I had to do shipping instead of onboard

The other thing that I like is that because of the size it fits on all planes, even underneath the seat, os I checked the other luggage but keep this with me

It's a full polycarbonate case but the false floor acts as a horizontal impact brace
  • u

    02/11/2017, 10:06 PM
The front section acts as a padded impact for the nucs from above
