I’ve had the Sense installed for 2 weeks now. So far it’s detected some of the bigger power consuming appliances like AC, water heater, garage door, coffee machine, etc. I wish there was a way to train it to find more. I also don’t know if it thinks both of my AC furnaces and both water heaters are the same one. They have no API either so I can’t pull info out into other logging apps. My newest endeavor is charting local outside temp with internal temps around the house against the thermostat power on/off cycles and power consumption. I do love the real-time power meter. It’s been very helpful just going up to a device and turning it on to see the spike in the app vs. plugging in a Killawatt.

Having smart, fuzzy-logic heating/cooling controls can make a big difference. Temperature swings that are too extreme end up being more costly, from what I've read over the years. It's also amazing what low-tech options there are, including baffled/insulating shades, curtains, efficient windows, skylight vents, planting the right sort of trees around the house to provide either sun or shade as needed, etc. etc.

Yes, saw that and am so excited I'm still awake at this early hour of the morning! Fantastic specs at still an amazing price! Big question is when Citrix Workspace Hub versions from Viewsonic or NComputing will be avialable? (Did you see the Stratodesk demo at Synergy, @User?)
