    @User think that e200 only has 2 fans but the option to add a 3rd one. https://www.supermicro.com/products/system/Mini-ITX/SYS-E200-8D.cfm

    Yep they come with 2, but 3rd can be added. Same with e300.

    when adding a 3rd one it seems the average noise level is lower because of lower rpm

    How about swapping those with some Noctua coolers?

    Replaced most coolers in my lab gear with Noctua fans and the noise is way lower. Still need to find time for replacing them on the 5028Ds

    @dready didn't know you had a E200-8D

    @User glad to have you back, the Skull Plexi didn't fly so I decided to just sell them all 6 and buy 3 more E200-8D. Plan is 4 node Nutanix CE, must testing now Nutanix and VMware, the latest feels much faster but that's on pure NVMe though

    @User do you have E200-8D? Did you switch with the fan module you shared above?

    Good afternoon all. Looking to purchase some hardware to do some testing w/ Nutanix AHV (CE) and NVIDIA M10 Cards. (Looked at http://www.nvidia.com/object/grid-certified-servers.html) Any good experiences with any of the Super Micro boxes with capabilities w/ M10?

    @User If you don't mind me asking, how much did that M10 cost?

    K cards won’t work with AHV tho but same principle would apply for M/P
