anyone know if the NVMe drive is Nutanix is only optimized for Hot Tier? If so buy cheaper stick for Cold tier and not Samsung 960 EVO. Will ask in the Nutanix NTC forum as well btw.

NP, will pick up the 5 port version in March. Is it basically the same as Lite 3 just with 5 ports? Because is cheaper and have PoE if you add larger AC. I also want to put a AP inside of the pelican case.

don't know exactly but guess NVMe works for hot and cold tier but for cold tier you will probably not gain much

@User @Jason Samuel For your case you have a EdgeRouter X5, what about this with PoE? It probably do the same and can power my Ubiquiti AP as well

@User pretty nice case, didn't know you started to serial production them 🙂 That being said, I think we could manage to do DYI with 4x Intel Skull in a Pelican 1535 with the rest of your stuff for under $6000. That's not my plan, but I might just buy extra case or fome, just to write a blog post about it.

@User I do have a POE version of the Edgerouter X5 but it came with a massive brick for power and it gets extremely hot which is not great for a case scenario, but yes it will power the AP no problem, just pull it out if you get one.

@User I had to offload the making from a volume perspective i couldn't keep up with the demand inside Citrix, even to the point where its in our purchasing system now.

Nevermind. I have isolated this to an issue from one vlan to another through the EdgeRouter Lite.... Fun

So you other #labrats, any interest in a portable carry on with 4x Intel Skulls & everything that goes along? Citrix HDX 3D Pro with Atlantis SDS., Nutanix CE 4 node or whatever. I can make it happen!
