    As @Jarian Gibson mentioned is not every hardware, it has very specific requirements even at the firmware level, it is actually called hardware and firmware compatibility list (HFCL)

    @User the price depends on quantities and your ability to negotiate. Plus you may get incentives based on timing of the purchase. If you were to put together a budget I'd say start with 20k per node as a rough MSRP. I just paid way less than that but my circumstances likely differ greatly from yours. I'm talking about the nutanix pro software line item on my invoice. I bought their SM hardware. You still need to talk to a VAR that can get you solid pricing
