Honeslty. A good idea would be to use all of these 'free' providers like a raid array. Store a portion of a backup on each free system. The software would manage it all for you

I've never felt like i was missing a feature from the Windows app. I'm really lazy so I just want it to automatically monitor the folders I configure and have it auto sync to their cloud when it sees changes.

it's worked really well for that use case. I also use Veeam Endpoint to backup my OS drive and dump to a second HDD. Then spideroak uploads the files each night

the one thing I don't like about their windows app is the syndication process upon first install/update. it can take several hours if you have a lot of data. it's basically creating a local index of all your files.

they also have a feature called Hive that syncs folders between devices. I don't use it but could be useful for some.

You could setup a sharefile storage zone and have spideroak back it up
