My concern is that if I use the block editor, will i have performance problems because i upload many images and videos to the block?

I check the demo and the flex grid image block allows me to upload only 6 images

Hey guys, I think I would also go for a

gallery

block on a

pages

module in most cases. I guess the advantage of a

galleries

module would be more for content reuse, at the expense of being more awkward to work with from a publisher's perspective. (ie. Need to create a gallery item, then link to it on the page side.) @User are you worried about performance on the form/block editor itself? Or more on the preview side of things?

this is because that's what the designer intended for that module on that specific site. I've seen developers use the medias field with hundreds of images attached with no issues

So I tried it with the patch. It does not have any impact it seems

@User does your repeated model have HasSlug, a slug table, and so on? does your repeater include a permalink field like the create modal would? if you don't want to have that field because you just want to let it be generated, you'd need to set the

slug

property on each repeater item manually before they get saved

I think we can introduce an option to do that automatically though as it seems a lot of developers want to use repeaters in that capacity

you can add it to your repeater and hide it
