Hello, I noticed repeater doesn't update slug attribute after change in database. Is this expected? Edit: I understand slugs aren't updated but new records are created but in this case not even new slugs are created

If you dont really care about preview, you could go with modules. It depends how you show / filter items on frontend. But on modules you can alwalys rearange them.
