Do you do employee awards? what do you think of the employee of the month/quarter?

As we have a very small team 25 FTE we are not doing it as all are reporting to co founders directly. Each dept has 1-2 folks like :- Backend , frontend , product, marketing,growth, hr ,finance , content And design so it won't make much sense . I would love to hear how in different startup's it's been taken care . In my previous company whitehat and unacademy it was done pretty well.

1. There are teams that take on large projects and visible results are seen a few months later. (though, they might be performing at equal or more than an equal pace with the others) 2. A few teams can have 2 folks & some can have 20. (How do we avoid bias here as the team with 2 folks might take on more tasks) 3. How do we compare tech & non-tech performance to get 1 top employee if you don't set okrs? Do let me know what ya'll do to tackle them.
